Dear friend, We don’t have to remind you of Rep. Omar’s terrible record on the U.S.-Israel relationship – she has already raised MILLIONS by:
She also voted against continuing military aid to Israel and voted against a two-state solution. That’s why we’re proud to endorse Antone Melton-Meaux for Congress. He has a strong understanding of the value of the Israel as a strategic partner in the Middle East. He opposes the anti-Israel Boycott, Divest and Sanctions (BDS) movement, values Israel as a democratic ally of the United States, and supports a strong U.S.-Israel relationship. Ilhan Omar is on the wrong side of the issues, and one of the most vocal opponents of Israel. And she’s said some truly vile things about Israel and the Jewish people.
Friend, it’s time to get Ilhan Omar out of Congress. The 2020 elections are right around the corner. Omar’s primary is in August, and we need to make sure Antone Melton-Meaux emerges victorious. Given the nature of the district, the winner of the primary will almost certainly win in November. An anti-Israel voice like Ilhan Omar’s doesn’t belong in Congress, and nor do other anti-Israel candidates running for Congress.
Omar just can’t seem to keep her offensive anti-Israel views to herself. Just last February, she again took to Twitter to tell her followers that support for Israel in Congress was “all about the Benjamins” – pedaling a hateful antisemitic trope. Democratic leadership even condemned her comments in public! Even her own party knows that Rep. Omar is not fit for her job.
Friend, the U.S.-Israel relationship is more important than ever. With a hostile threat from Iran, and near constant terrorist missile attacks, Israel, our democratic ally, is under attack. We need to work to bring more people to Congress who understand the importance of America’s alliance with Israel like Antone Melton-Meaux, and oppose those who would turn their backs on our closest ally in the Middle East, leaving both our countries less safe.
