SUMMARY OF OP-EDS FROM THE HEBREW PRESS

Yediot Ahronot notes that Al-Quds University Prof. Mohammed S. Dajani Daoudi recently led a group of Palestinian students on a visit to Auschwitz and has written and lectured about the trip. The author informs her readers that, „The Palestinian media has called him ‘traitor’ and ‘collaborator’, the lecturers’ union has announced that it is expelling him for ;normalizing’ and a group of students burst into his office, ran amok, broke things, threw out his secretary and left behind letters warning Dajani not to return to campus.” The paper points out, „Abu Mazen, who gave his Ramallah speech condemning the Holocaust, has not bothered to help him.”

Yisrael Hayom links the current American media reports on alleged Israeli espionage in the US to the ongoing negotiations to exempt Israelis from visas to enter the US. The author dismisses the allegations and asserts, „If the Americans do not want to issue Israelis entry permits without visas, they should find another pretext.”
