- Report shows increase in West Bank terror attacks
Charges related to terror attacks from Palestinians living in the West Bank rose by a fifth in 2012, according to an army report.
The charges pertain to security issues and include planning of terror attacks and possession of weapons with intent to execute terror attacks but not public disturbances, Yediot Aharonot reports.

- Finance minister grilled by Knesset committee over budget
Finance Minister Yair Lapid defended his budget in a stormy session with the Knesset Finance Committee on Tuesday, the Jerusalem Post reports, as members of the coalition and opposition alike critiqued his economic plan and vowed to make changes before allowing it to move forward.
“The committee under my authority will make changes to benefit the middle class and weak sectors, and distribute the burden in a more just manner on all levels of society,” committee chairman Nissan Slomiansky (Bayit Yehudi) said following the discussion.

- Tourism to Israel continues to increase
Numbers of foreign tourists visiting Israel during May hit an all-time record, according to the Ministry of Tourism.
Last month saw a five percent increase in the number of tourists and visitors, with 336,000 visitors entering the country, Arutz Sheva reports.
Of those, 283,000 were tourists who stayed more than one night in the country and included 241,000 who entered the country via airline – six percent more than in May 2012.
