IAF aircraft targeted two weapon storage facilities in Gaza

Overnight, IAF aircraft targeted two weapon storage facilities in the northern and southern Gaza Strip. Direct hits were identified.

The sites were targeted in response to the rocket fire on communities in southern Israel. During 2012 over 270 rockets were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip.

The IDF will continue to operate against anyone who uses terror against the residents of the State of Israel. The Hamas terror organization is solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip.
