Five other passengers were wounded. Kinneret Ben Shalom Hajbi was on her way to volunteer at hospitals in Tel Aviv. Afraid to take the bus, she boarded the number 51 service taxi. At about 10 A.M., a Palestinian boarded the taxi and started to stab the passengers. Kinneret was stabbed in the heart and was taken in critical condition to the nearby Rabin Medical Center, where she died of her wounds. Kinneret moved to Petah Tikva from Rishon Letzion after her marriage to Rami Hajbi, and there she raised her three children. „She was a righteous person and it is hard to believe she was hurt. It is inconceivable that a person wishes to ride a taxi and is cruelly murdered on the way,” her brother-in-law Zion Hajbi said Sunday. „She was a very pious woman, and she always volunteered and helped other people,” he said. Kinneret also practiced alternative medicine and helped all those who requested treatment. Kinneret Ben Shalom Hajbi was buried in Rishon Letzion. She is survived by her husband, Rami, her sons Avihai, 25, and Itiel, 22, and her daughter Avishag, 23. She also leaves behind her 80-year-old mother, and four siblings.
