Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will today (Monday), 15.4.2003 at 12:30 at Chief Rabbinate office, 80 Yirmiyahu St. Jerusalem, sign an agreement authorizing the transfer of all unleavened products to the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, and giving them power of attorney to do with it as they please.
The newly elected Chief Rabbis, Rabbi Shlomo Amar and Rabbi Yona Metzger will preside over the ceremony together with Chief Rabbinate Director Oded Weiner. Approximately an hour later, Jabar Hussein from Abu Gosh, will make an advanced payment and all hametz owned by the State and places where it can be found will be transferred to his possession.
