The JCIC is an important G2G platform between Israel and China, that promotes innovation cooperation in various fields.

The JCIC, which was established in 2014, is an important G2G platform between Israel and China, that promotes innovation cooperation in various fields and encompasses ministries and government agencies from the two countries, as well as leading universities and research institutions. The JCIC is co-chaired by Israel’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Benjamin Netanyahu and China’s Vice Premier Madam Liu Yandong with the aim of enhancing the Win-Win cooperation between the two countries.

The 1st Meeting of the JCIC took place in Beijing in January 2015 and a Three-Years Action Plan was then signed by Vice Premier Liu Yandong and former Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman. The 2nd meeting was successfully concluded in Jerusalem in March 2016.
