Invitation to cover the Tel Aviv Gillette Marathon- largest race ever to be held in Israel with over 18,000 runners, 7 different tracks and 65,000 supporters, judges and viewers
Stephan Angeles, Guinness World Record holder in marathon running, will be available for interview. Angeles runs 365 marathons every year, including the Tel Aviv Marathon.
Following the marathon will be a colorful festival at the Charles Clore Garden with kickboxing training, Zumba with Lila Marcus, leading Tel-Aviv DJs, fashion and sports complexes.
Please arrive promptly- before 05:00 AM, after which time roads will be closed for traffic and there will be no entry for vehicles to the marathon start and finish area.
** To receive press tags and permits to enter the running tracks, please approach the press stand at the Charles Clore Garden, near the runners’ complex.
Tel Aviv Gillette Marathon 2011- the largest international sporting event in Israel will take place this Friday, April 8th 2011. It is the largest race ever to be held in Israel, including over 18,000 runners.
The race will start at 06:30 at the Charles Clore Garden in Tel Aviv. Following it is a large festival of performances, health and fitness complexes, Zumba with Lila Marcus, kickboxing and the best of Tel Aviv’s DJs.
