This terror infrastructure is directly responsible for a number of serious terror attacks, such as the suicide bombing attack in the Netanya city mall on July 2005, and the suicide bombing attack at the „Stage” Club in Tel Aviv on February 2005, murdering ten Israeli civilians and wounding tens. Louay Jahed Fat’halla Sa’adi, age 26, resident of the village of Atil, north of Tulkarm, had become the major threat in Samaria and directly involved in widespread terror activities. Louay Sa’adi was one of the senior wanted Islamic Jihad terrorist in the West bank, involved continuously in planning and committing terror attack and shooting attacks, in investigating Palestinians suspected in cooperation with Israel, in weapon smuggling, and in recruiting many operatives for terror activities and for helping wanted terrorists. The Islamic Jihad terror infrastructure, of which Louay Sa’adi was the head, and of which Maged Samir Ahmed Ashkar, age 26, originally resident of the village of Tzeidah, north pf Tulkarm, was a member, is directly responsible for a number of terror attacks, among them two suicide bombing attacks: A suicide bombing attack in the Stage club in Tel Aviv, on February 2005, in which five Israeli civilians were murdered and tens were injured. A suicide bombing attack in the mall of Netanyah, on July 2005, in which five Israeli civilians were murdered and tens were injured. It should be noted that on the same day, Sa’adi was responsible for an attempt to explode a car bomb in the community of Shavei Shomron, northwest of Nablus, with no casualties. Sa’adi is also responsible for further terror attacks like the shooting attack in the village of Bakah El- Sharkiyah on June 2005, in which an Israeli civilian was murdered and one was injured, and for the car bomb exploded near the IDF base in the area of Jenin, on February 2005. In addition, Sa’adi was attempting to plan further terror attacks among them a double suicide bombing attack in Jerusalem, on May 2005. Even in the last few days Sa’adi was involved in planning further terror attacks, among them a suicide bombing inside Israel planned to be committed within the next few days. In addition to his involvement in terrorism against Israeli targets, Sa’adi was responsible for killing two Palestinians suspected in cooperating with Israel, and for interrogating many others, residents of Tulkarm and the villages surrounding the city. After he was killed, IDF forces found in Sa’adi’s possession an AK-47 assault rifle, ten ammunition clips, a bullet proof vest, an explosive device and a pistol. IDF forces uncovered in the possession of Maged Ashkar an AK-47 assault rifle and an additional pistol. During the period of calm declared on January 2005, the militant and terror activities of the Islamic Jihad infrastructure has increased, especially in the Samaria region, as many of these elements do not regard themselves as part of the commitment to the calm. The Islamic Jihad terror organization has committed a various number of terror attacks aimed against Israeli targets during the period of calm, as a big part of those terror attacks were committed by the Islamic Jihad terror infrastructure in Tulkarm, headed by Louay Sa’adi. As mentioned before, even in these days this terror infrastructure is still planning on committing terror attacks against Israeli targets, among them a terror attack inside Israel, planned to be carried within the next few days.
