It’s Getting Cold in Israel … Clothe Needy Holocaust Survivors
|
|
Dear Friend,
There are heartbreaking numbers of elderly Holocaust survivors across Israel who suffer in the bitter cold of the winter without the proper clothes and blankets to keep them warm.
We are just days after the completion of High Holidays and Feast of Tabernacles celebrations in Israel. Yet today, the weather shifted toward winter, with brutal morning winds and damp evenings. Many survivors live in poverty with no means to purchase the needed blankets and clothing to protect them.
Holocaust survivors have suffered so much. Provide a winter miracle to warm them in their last days.
It says in Leviticus: “You shall rise before the aged and show deference to the old; you shall fear your God: I am Hashem” (19:32). Many Holocaust survivors have no family left and no one to care for them in their later years.
Be a part of the miracle for God’s chosen people.
Each donation makes a meaningful difference in the lives and wellbeing of these survivors, who are often forced to choose between food, medicine and clothing. Help those in need who can’t help themselves. Give now. Provide a miracle before the winter comes in full force and takes it toll.
With Blessings,
Rabbi Tuly Weisz
