Thunderclap logo

Thunderclap

Yes WUJS has a thunderclap! You may be wondering what thunderclap is (other than being the obvious description of stormy weather).

Thunderclap is the first-ever crowdspeaking platform that helps people be heard by saying something together. It allows a single message to be mass-shared, flash mob-style, so it rises above the noise of your social networks. By boosting the signal at the same time, Thunderclap helps a single person create action and change like never before which is why WUJS has set the date and time for the September 07 at 6:00PM IDT when the official registration date for conference will be broadcasted to all.
All we need 100 people to sign up to the link to make congress go viral!

Here is the link for the WUJS thunderclap and if you want to know more about Thunderclap click here.

Union News

AUJS New campaign

The Australian Union of Jewish Students have just launched an incredible campaign to help bring a positive message to the complex Israel/Palestine issue.
The campaign is called: „Peace Week: Peace Starts With People” with the aim of their campaign to explore the grassroots organisations that aim to build bridges between communities in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. All of which are hopefully laying the foundations for peace.

It highlights the difference that even one group of people can make in the quest for peace, along with the recognition that peace will not come by relying on governments or militaries – it starts with the unity of the people of Israel and Palestine. So within in the coming fortnight, campuses across Australia and New Zealand will host events for Peace Week in the areas of Sports, Medical, The Arts, Open Dialog, Business and Comedy.
