ישוחרר יונתן פולארד!

ערבות הדדית הינה אחת מאבני היסוד של המוסר היהודי. יונתן פולארד פעל למען ביטחונה של מדינת ישראל ומרצה בשל כך תקופת מאסר ארוכה יותר מכל אדם שנכלא בשל עבירות מקבילות. הקונצנזוס הפוליטי בישראל על הדרישה לשחררו מעידה כי עונשו עבר מזמן את גבול ההגיון. אנו קוראים לחברנו בכל העולם לפעול לשחרורו ומקווים לראותו בישראל בקרוב.

התכנסות ועד הפועל של ההסתדרות הציונית

בתחילת חודש נובמבר התקיים בירושלים הועד הפועל הציוני הל”ז של ההסתדרות הציונית. בכנס נכחו נציגים רבים של הליכוד העולמי וביניהם ראשי פדרציות ופעילים מהארצות השונות. למפגש ישנה חשיבות רבה בחיזוק הקשר בין מדינת ישראל ליהדות התפוצות.

הליכוד העולמי ממשיך להרחיב את פעילותו ברחבי העולם.

הבמהלך חודש נובמבר התארח בארץ מר אלכסנדר קרגין יו”ר ארגון „שחר” ברוסיה. „שחר” הינו אחד מארגוני הסטודנטים המובילים כיום ברוסיה הפועל בקרב צעירי הקהילה היהודית לעידוד פעילות ציונית ולחיזוק הזהות היהודית. במהלך הפגישה סוכם על הגברת שיתוף הפעולה והעשייה המשותפת בין הליכוד העולמי לבין הארגון.

Justice for Jonathan Pollard

“Mutual guarantee” is one of the foundation stones of Jewish morality.

Jonathan Pollard is now serving an unprecedented sentence – longer than anyone else convicted for similar crimes – after he acted on behalf of the security of the State of Israel. There is a political consensus in Israel that Pollard’s sentence has gone way beyond any logical punishment and that he must be released immediately. We call on our friends all over the world to work tirelessly on behalf of Jonathan’s release and his return home to Israel.

The 37th Zionist General Council

The 37th Zionist General Council of the World Zionist Organization met in Jerusalem in the beginning of November.

World Likud delegates from around the world, including many Federation heads and other activists, took part in this important gathering. The meeting was especially significant in terms of strengthening relations between the State of Israel and Jewish communities in the Diaspora.

The World Likud Continues to Expand its Activities

During the month of November Mr. Alexander Kragin, chairman of the “Shachar” student organization in Russia, visited Israel. Shachar, which advocates for increased Zionistic activities and Jewish identity, is one of the leading organizations amongst Jewish students in Russia today. During our meeting with Mr. Kagin we agreed upon increased cooperation between the World Likud and his organization.
