Standing in Solidarity with Israel: The Israel Allies Foundation’s Washington Conference
Scores of Members of Congress, Israeli Ministers and Members of Knesset, dozens of legislators from around the world and hundreds of lay leaders to attend Israel Allies Foundation Gala event in Washington.
Jerusalem/Washington – Dozens of Congressmen, 6 Israeli Ministers and Members of Knesset, 30 legislators from 17 countries, and 500 lay leaders will attend the 2013 Washington Conference organized by the Israel Allies Foundation.
The three day policy summit, which will take place November 12-14 on Capitol Hill, will focus on the geo-political situation in the Middle East and the security threats facing Israel, including Iran’s nuclear program.
The conference will culminate with a gala dinner Thursday, November 14, at 7:30 p.m., at the J W Marriott Hotel, with a keynote address by Israel’s Minister of Tourism Uzi Landau. The gala is open to media coverage.
Intensive meetings will take place on Capitol Hill between Congressmen, Senators and high-ranking American officials and Israeli Ministers, Naftali Bennett and Uzi Landau, Members of Knesset David Rotem and Gila Gamliel from the Likkud-Beteinu party, Dov Lipman from the Yesh Atid party and Ayelet Shaked from the Jewish Home party.
The event is hosted by the Congressional Israel Allies Caucus and will include dozens of Congressmen lead by the co-chairs of the Caucus, Republican Congressmen, Doug Lamborn and Trent Franks and Democratic Congressmen Brad Sherman and Eliot Engel.

The international delegation will include parliamentarians from nearly 20 countries including Israel, South Africa, Canada, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Slovakia, Poland, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Hungary, Romania and Greece.
