Islamic Jihad’s military wing releases video showing new multi-barrel rocket launcher being utilized for first time

The Islamic Jihad‘s military wing released a video on Sunday showing a triple rocket launch. The terrorist group claims the clip documented its new multi-barrel launcher – the SK8 – being utilized for the first time.
The Islamic Jihad has claimed responsibility for the latest round of rocket fire noting that more than 70 rockets and mortar shells were fired at Israel since Saturday evening.

Earlier on Sunday, a member of the group’s military wing was killed in an IDF strike in the northern Gaza Strip. This raises the number of Palestinian fatalities to six.

Meanwhile, four Israelis were lightly injured and damage was caused to a neighborhood watch patrol car as a result of rocket fire on Sunday.
The fire followed a border attack that saw terrorists launch an anti-tank missile at an IDF patrol near Karni crossing. Two soldiers were seriously wounded and two others were moderately injured.
IDF tanks fired at terror targets in the Strip following the attack. Gaza medical sources said that four people were killed and 25 others were injured.
