New York-i tudósítónk jelenti: Az Amerikába eljutott információk szerint úgy tűnik, hogy iszlamista terroristák összehangolt merényletsorozatot hajtottak végre péntek este Párizsban. Az amerikai kormány a hírre azonnal reagált. Biden alelnök, valamint Kerry a State Dept. nevében azonnal sajtónyilatkozatot adott ki. A nyilatkozatokat idézzük. A State Department figyelmeztetést bocsátott ki.
Statement by Vice President Biden on the Situation in Paris
I join President Obama in offering my deepest condolences to all those wounded and to the families who lost loved ones in today’s terrorist attacks in Paris. It’s heartbreaking. Outrageous. The American people understand and share the pain the people of Paris are going through. As these tragic events unfold, the investigation continues, and we learn all of the details of what’s happened, the United States stands ready to support the French government and the people of Paris. And, as we’ve done before, in the face of dangers and threats, we will look out for one another. We will stand together. We will never bow. We will never break. That’s the character of our two nations. We are bound by timeless democratic values that the cowardice and perverse ideologues of extremist networks can never match, wherever they are. Such savagery can never threaten who we are. We will respond. We will overcome. We will endure.
Statement by Secretary Kerry
On the Attacks in Paris
I share President Obama’s outrage and sadness over the terrorist attacks tonight in Paris.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by this assault on innocent people, going about their lives. And I am deeply concerned by ongoing reports of hostages.
These are heinous, evil, vile acts. Those of us who can must do everything in our power to fight back against what can only be considered an assault on our common humanity.
Our embassy in Paris is making every effort to account for the welfare of American citizens in the city, and in the days ahead we stand ready to provide whatever support the French government may require. France is our oldest ally, a friend and a vital partner. We stand with the French people tonight, as our peoples have always stood together in our darkest hours. These terrorist attacks will only deepen our shared resolve.
The US Embassy
The US Embassy in Paris is making every effort to account for US citizens in the city. US citizens can contact 1-888-407-4747 (from the US) or 202-501-4444 (from overseas) for assistance.

Paris attacks: At least 153 killed in gunfire and blasts
Consul general Dr. Ferenc Kumin’s mail to his French colleague, Bertrand Lortholary, consul general of France in New York
November 13, 2015 8:12 PM
….This is a very dark day not just in France, but also in our common home, Europe, and in the whole civilized world that shares universal values of humanity.
Dear Bertrand, my dear friend,
as many Hungarian people tonight, I also watch the news from Paris with growing disbelief and shock. This is a very dark day not just in France, but also in our common home, Europe, and in the whole civilized world that shares universal values of humanity. Attacking unarmed, peaceful people is shameful, no ideology, no any possible cause can explain such a cowardly deed. I’m confident that French police and special forces will do their best to save innocent lives, and those, who are responsible for these attacks, will be brought to justice.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and with the people of France.
Take care, I hope we can catch up soon,
Ferenc
