30th International Arts and Crafts Fair – Back at the Sultan’s Pool

The Khutsot Hayotser fair will host the first Israel Sudoku championship 17/8/05-28/8/05 The Israeli Exhibition: Over 150 artists and craftsmen will display paintings, prints, ceramics, jewelry, knitting and textile, Judaic art, toys, mixed arts works wooden artifacts and more. The International Exhibition: The international fair will feature many artists and craftsmen from abroad that will showcase their works in special booths and displays, as well as live demonstrations of their work process. The exhibits includes delegates from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, El Salvador, Brazil, South Africa, India, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Nepal, Senegal, China, Peru, The Philippines, France and Thailand. Musical Acts: A live performance will take place every night at 21:00 at the Sultan’s Pool. The artists include Boaz Sharabi, Ivri Lider, Pablo Rosenberg, Arkadi Duchin, David D’or, Evgeny Shapovalow, Micha Shitrit, Gaya, Nikmat Hatraktor and a visiting group from Korea. Other than the main show, smaller stages will feature various musical acts and dance groups. Tav Group: The Tav Group invites the public to an interdisciplinary gathering. Groups of artist and artisans working together will offer the public the best of their craft. Next to unique objets d’art will be the finest coffee, bread and honey or a glass of wine and cheese, coffee reading, Moroccan sounds, stories and poetry, individual guidance, portraits, yoga class, neck massage, and more. 2/.. -2- First Israeli Sudoku Championship Hundreds of thousands of Israelis are already addicted to Sudoku – the numbers puzzle that swept the world. The first ever Israeli Sudoku championship will take place this summer in Jerusalem, as part of the international arts and crafts fair. The top three contestants will win awards and prizes. Kids Attractions: The JETIX Channel will be hosted by Khutsot Hayotser and will create and produce an enchanting environment appealing to children in the atmosphere of the Channel. Characters from the Channel – DardaSaba, X Man, Power Ranger – will hold a colorful and exciting parade at the Fairgrounds, a dance party with the entertainment team of the Channel, competitions and challenges galore,the children of Israel create and break world records – the graphic wall and wishes. World’s largest Wall of wishes and Graffiti: A giant canvas will be spread by the wall surrounding Khutsot Hayotser. The children will be invited to paint, imprint their hands on the canvas and make their wishes with special finger-paint and brushes, accompanied by guides.
