With fares starting from just €37.99 the airlink to Budapest will now be attractive for tourism and city breaks and also offer unbeatable value for business travelers. Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, who has worked diligently to promote the Open Skies policy which he supports, noted that „The entry of Wizz Air into the Israeli market represents a vote of confidence in Israel as an attractive tourism destination. It will encourage increased competition and a reduction in the cost of airfares both for tourists and Israelis. I welcome the introduction of any airline company flying into Israel, a development that will increase seat capacity and increase the number of tourists visiting Israel.”
