Mixed Female, Male Battalion Holds First Joint Drill

For the first time, female and male infantry soldiers from the Caracal Battalion participated in a joint drill.
The Caracal Battalion was created to accommodate women seeking to join a combat unit and fight alongside men. In 2004, the unit was recognized as an official battalion. Last week, Caracal held its first battalion training exercise–the final climax of an eight-week training session.
