10th Annual Herzliya Conference Begins on Sunday

 

The Middle East’s leading security & policy conference to take place Jan.31st-Feb.3rd at the IDC Herzliya Campus

                                                             

The 2010 Herzliya Conference, entitled “The Quest for Leadership, Governance & Strategy, will officially kick off this coming Sunday, January 31st at 16:30. The event, consisting of over 35 panel and plenary sessions, will be hosting some 300 presenters from Israel and around the world.

 

The Conference’s subject matter will be as diverse as ever in its 10th year with topics such as U.S.-Israel relations, a Poly-Nuclear Middle East, changing in International Law, Breaking the Global Oil Addiction, the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, Regulating the Financial Markets and many more.

 

On Tuesday night, the Conference will host special panel entitled “Prospects of Peace: The Israeli-Palestinian Track” with participants – Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyed and chaired by Conference Chairman Danny Rothschild.

 

Keeping with tradition, the Conference will end with the “Herzliya Address”, considered by many to be Israel’s State of the Union Address given by the Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu.
