Hungarian Foreign Minister Dr. Kinga Göncz will arrive today for a two day visit


Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Kinga Göncz is to arrive today (31 Jan) for a two day visit to Israel.
FM Göncz is due to meet with FM Livni, Vice Premier Shimon Peres and Speaker of the Knesset MK Dalia Itzik. She will also visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum and the site of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination, where she will lay wreaths in honor of the victims.
Israel and Hungary share an excellent relationship, and mutual high level visits take place regularly. Israel is considered one of Hungary’s leading financial partners. Total Israeli investments in Hungary exceed 4.5 billion dollars, and mutual trade exceeds 0.5 billion dollars.
