Monthly Summary – November 2011  
November has seen a significant decrease in the number of attacks: 44 attacks, as opposed to 80 in October. The decrease is especially salient in the number of attacks coming from the Gaza Strip: 11 attacks, as opposed to 46 in October.

The Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem areas has been maintaining a similar level of attacks: 26 attacks in the Judea and Samaria area (28 in October) and 7 in Jerusalem (6 in October).

 As for casualties from terror attacks- one foreign civilian was injured, on November 6, as a result of rocket launchings towards Israel.

Following is a regional distribution of attacks:

11 attacks in the Gaza Strip (46 in October); 26 attacks in the Judea and Samaria (28 in October); 7 attacks in Jerusalem (6 in October).

Jerusalem and the Judea and Samaria area: All attacks executed in November (33 attacks) were in the form of firebombs (October: 30 out of 34).

The Gaza Strip – 11 attacks: 9 rocket launchings; 1 mortar shell launching; 1 small arms shooting.

Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem – 33 attacks: all in the form of firebombs (7 in Jerusalem).

Throughout November 2011, 11 rockets and 1 mortar shell were launched towards Israel (in 10 attacks), compared to 52 rockets and 6 mortar shells in October 2011 (in 43 attacks).
